RIZE
I found the movie RIZE to be incredibly inspiring. I think what I loved most was that I had seen Little C on national television. Being able to see him have such a high level of passion and dedication in this documentory before ever having any real success was amazing. I see so many people that claim to have a passion put it on the back burner or expect someone to carry them to success. I was just floored to see these people to heavily devoted to a passion that did not have any clear path to success, and with so little to hope for.

Human psychology is captivating. The Milgram human experiment really exposed the human need to obey. Horror film director Roth will reconstruct the contraversial experiment for the Discovery Channel on Sunday. What I was drawn to most was Roth's explination of evil. According to Roth, "I think there are certain acts people commit that can be labeled and categorized as evil, but I don’t believe that “evil” exists. I’ve always felt that the scariest thing is when humans disconnect themselves from what they’re actually doing and displace the guilt and responsibility onto a third party. They’re capable of doing anything." It is an idea worth exploring

At the age of 79, Ritcher is still relevant and showing. What I found most interesting was his range of work. He invented a technique called photographic impessionism. In this technique the image looks like a blurred or shaken photograph. He later became involved in non objective abstraction. I only hope I can be as relevant and successfull in such a wide range.
